Jurong Bird Park

Today's adventure was the Jurong Bird Park!! We have been three times now and Juliana loves it, so I knew my family would have a good time. This is Jess & Juliana at the entrance...
I was glad Jean came with us, because she had never been to this park before. Here we are enjoying all the birds... Jean and Juliana...

Nanny and Juliana are in the human cage!! Last time we were there, Juliana was terrified of this, but she walked right in this time and tried climbing up the side.

Lately, she has been warming up to these rides that you find in malls and at parks, so she sat on the horse and the wagon!

We went to the Birds and Buddies show, but it began pouring right as we sat down. Unfortunately, this meant that had to cut it short, so we didn't get to see the entire thing, especially the part where the birds fly out. But we made the best of it!!

It was still pouring, so we made a run for it over to the World of Darkness exhibit with all different types of owls. You're not allowed to use flash, so this is the only picture that came out. Isn't it gorgeous?

I wanted to take them to the Lory Loft, which is a walk-in flight aviary and for a small donation, you can feed the birds. It was fun!! Juliana was thrilled with the birds, because they got so close. She kept trying to pet them!

After the Lory Loft, I decided to head back home with Juliana since she was exhausted and everyone else stayed to enjoy the rest of the park. I'll keep you posted on how that went!
