Back to reality!

It was a tough morning again, because Juliana was still looking around for her Nana, Nanny and cousin. I tried to explain to her again that they needed to go home and she will get to talk to them again soon (via skype of course). I figured it would be best to just keep her busy, which has been a bit hard since I've been under the weather. But so far, things have been good, other than a little bit of crankiness.

The day started a little later than normal (so we missed a class we were supposed to go to!) and after breakfast, she played some dress up, a new favorite pass time!!!This toy was a Jurong Bird Park purchase, which is a hand held fan that has candy at the end. She really enjoys both the fan and candy!!
So cute...
Now it was time to work on body parts. Where's your belly button??
Where are your toes??
What about your nose??
And your ear?
We also did lips, bum bum, elbows, head, shoulders, knees and a few others, but she was a bit too quick for me to capture them all on camera!!

After all this practice, Juliana got hold of the camera and here is the picture that she took...those adorable feet. I can't complain, it came out pretty good!
We started our "day of the week" bins today and it got about twenty minutes of play out of her!
Cutting up some play dough...
Next up was IMM, since it was raining and they have a covered playground. Check out that hat!! I love her in hats, but up until now, she has fought them so much. Maybe she's starting to warm up to them?? Good, because we have lots of them for her to wear! The mall has a GIANT hopscotch!
Yup, home...the best place to be!
Maybe she thinks she belongs in nature?? I mean, she loves the animals, trees and flowers so much, so maybe she does :-) On the mini merry-g0-round and loving it!!!
She loves these, but hasn't been able to grasp the concept of them just yet. In time...
She can climb up this entire slide (which is big and curvy), but it usually ends up like this...back down on her tummy! I'm loving the fact that she's getting so steady on this rock wall!! I used to have to help her all the way up, but now she can make it up almost the entire way through!Through the tunnel for only the second time now and made it through!
She is getting much better on this contraption and is learning how to hold her balance.
Do you think she's hoping for some of those cookies!?!
Busy morning, so now she's napping and I'm off to an appointment.

On another note, my poor family got caught staying over night in Japan since they missed their flight due to maintenance problems :-( At least the airline paid for a hotel room for them so they didn't have to sleep on benches. I can't wait find out they have landed safe and sound back in the U.S.!

Will do...always within arm distance with her since I live in fear of anything happening to her!
