Gymboree and Orchard

Today's plan was to head to Tanglin mall for a Gymboree Play & Learn class, a bit of shopping and then walk down to Orchard Road since my grandmother and cousin hadn't seen that part of the city yet. Here's Nana and Juliana on the cab ride over. She was in such a good mood today!! We were a bit early when we got to the mall, so Juliana hopped up into the sports car. She actually used to be terrified of these things, but seems perfectly happy now. I even got suckered in to putting the $2 in so she could have a ride!
Sitting with Barney & friends...
Finally, Bob the Builder!
Then after all of this fun, we were off to Gymboree!

Fortunately, my mom, grandmother and cousin got to take turns going in the room with Juliana (only one adult allowed per child), but there are also windows to watch. I wish we could have done a few more classes with them while they were here, but we were always so busy!!!

Little monkey...
Playing with Isabella, the daughter of one of Jacob's coworkers...
Yes, that is a smile even though I thought she was upset at first...then I heard the laughs. Guess she was having a good time!
Ah, she loves bubbles!
More bubble time, yay!!! She looks so excited to pop that gigantic one!
Nana and Juliana enjoying some group time around the parachute...
The crew in front of Gymbo!!
She always has quite the appetite after running around at Gymboree...and thirsty too!!
Well, the last two and a half weeks have been wonderful and filled with memories that will last a lifetime. I just wish it could last longer. Their flight takes off early in the morning, so Juliana will have to say her goodbyes before bed and it's always so sad in the morning. Last time Nana left, she was confused for days as to why Nana wasn't in the guest room. She would walk in, point to the bed and say, "Nana?" with her hands up. It was cute, but broke my heart. I hope it goes okay this time. But in the end, it will all be worth it, because we had a blast!!

I know it is kind of hard to go through this. They are "condensed" memories, which lasts forever.
