Family fun

It wasn't a real busy weekend, but it was a nice family weekend. On Friday night, Jacob got home from work and we were talking to Juliana about the Elf. She is very interested in him as he "watches over her for Santa" and she asked if she could hold him. She was telling him secrets (probably about how she's a good girl) and then they danced together to Christmas carols!
We fully believe in teaching Juliana about Santa as well as the story of Jesus and she's having a ball getting to know the Elf, reading books about Santa and learning all about her Nativity set through stories about Jesus too. She also knows that presents are coming!!

Going for a ride with daddy, which is remarkable that he even fits on this... On Saturday afternoon, Jacob and I had some couple time and went to see New Moon finally...it was good!! Yup, I'm still team Edward...sucker for the vampires. But it was a pretty good movie, considering how much was left out from the book. Now, we just have to wait until June 2010 (maybe later in Singapore?) for Eclipse to hit theaters!

Sunday morning was relaxing and we got to talk to Tati, my mom and Nana and then my brother and Brittellen on skype and see Rylie again! Juliana was getting jealous though, so she was doing everything to get us to focus on her instead of Ryle. Um, only child syndrome?

By the time we were done talking, it was too close to lunch to head out, so we played some baseball and Juliana is getting better at it. She likes to wear the glove and hold the bat, although she definitely needs assistance there...
I love our family time, nothing could beat it. Jacob has been working longer hours and lots of Saturdays while REC wraps up, so when we get him, it's a blessing!
