Both Jacob and I have been looking forward to our first SCS night, especially since Camille and Blake were the first hosts. As all of us know, Camille is like Martha Stewart and goes all out when it comes to food, decorations and entertaining! Hence the gorgeous flower arrangement on the table, tattoos for everyone to put on, fireworks for later on in the night and one special treat just for the ladies!Today is Singapore's National Day, which is why there are Singapore flags on the boys faces, the girls arms, the tables, etc. Just so you know why!
Okay, introductions: (Top row) Camille & Blake, Jennifer & Toby, Jacob & I (Bottom row) Jessica & Travis, Gillian & Jamey, Jennifer & JustinCamille with her hubby, Blake, manning the grill! May I say, he did an excellent job too. The food was delicious and Camille also made a salad and another dish with noodles that I can't remember the name of (Camille, leave a comment with that name and recipe please :-)The boys sporting their facial tattoos...Camille prepping her dinner...
Time to eat all of the delicious food they prepared for us!
I simply had to share this picture, because I think Gillian is hilarious with her peace sign and gangster face! (Even though she's the sweetest thing ever!)Game choice of the night was Taboo...I'm obviously laughing at Jacob trying to describe something, and I just love the expression on my face!
Blake counting up the tally for our game...oh yeah, the girls won!! Actually, I think he may have given up counting after a while :-) Good game choice Camille!
Time for some fireworks!
Camille & Jessica with their sparklers...Yes, Camille always goes all out and made ice cream cone cupcakes with "Happy Birthday" candles for the holiday!Close up of the cupcakes... Had to share this adorable picture of Gillian with the Singapore flag wrapped around the little one.Good picture of the boys with the flag. Yay for Singapore!
And the girls girls with the flag. We look a like better, huh?
Of course, Camille had to get some masks (that was the special treat for us girls) and make us pose!!! We are one good looking group though!!
What a great night! Happy 44th Birthday Singapore!

IT was a great a night... with lot of stuff but the friends was the best part... we had a blast and can't wait until next month...I love the pics so make sure you send them my way... the dish is called beehoon... and it is made with chicken, green beans, carrots, crystal noodles and lots of soy sauce and veggie broth... so good and healthy. You can also get it at all Hawker stalls.
