An animal, of course she had to check this out. That's the straw from the milkshake that she is trying to put in it's mouth!!
Swinging her around over and over again. I got dizzy, but she was smiling and laughing, so it's always worth it.And by the water, but there's not much of a view since it's all boats and cargo ships. Still, the breeze by the water is always nice on a sunny day.
After the park and a very quick stop by West Coast Plaza (not much to see here), we headed to Holland Village for some Mexican food. Jacob and I have both heard bad things about the Mexican food, but we wanted to find out for ourselves. There are two right next door to each other, Cha Cha Cha and El Patio, so we settled on El Patio. The food wasn't exceptional, certainly nothing like La Carreta back at home, but it fulfilled out craving for Mexican for the time being. I think that we we eventually do get back to the States for a visit, we'll spend most of our time dining out to eat all of the food we have been craving for all these months!!
Anyway, here's out cute little girl playing with the basket and checking out the bill.
Apparently, she was going to take care of the bill for us!!
And finally, the last pictures I wanted to share of Juliana being a BIG girl and drinking from a cup on her own. Whenever she does these things, she is so proud of herself for being independent!
It was lovely afternoon and we had a good time getting some sun, enjoying the outdoors and then finishing up with a good meal. There are so many parks here in the city to visit, so we've decided to aim for a few each month and then we can figure out our favorites!Lots of posts to come this week since Jacob is off all week and we have planned lots of stuff around the city and Sentosa Island to keep ourselves busy!

I think East Coast Park's better for a day trip.... more activities. Sunday morning at EC Park can be fun if there's an organized activity. Enjoy!
What a great weekend. I would have to agree with you about the Park... we have only been twice and are so close... it is too big and hot... but a good park for older kids. West coast Plaza I love... I live right down the street and get my starbucks there almost every day and the cold storage has been a life saver. They have good Japanese sushi too. And in regards to Mexican food... you picked the right one (instead of CHACHA's) but you have to try Iguana's at Clark QUay and our favorite is Margarita's on Faber Dr. We go every Friday you should join us someday.... can't wait to see you this week.
