Back to Sentosa!

What a wonderful day and perfect weather...hot as usual, but there was a nice breeze at the island and lots of sunshine.

We headed out to Sentosa nice and early this morning, and got off at Imbiah Lookout.
First stop was to see the Merlion, but Juliana was more interested in the water as usual! I did get her looking at the camera once, but it's hard to tell in this picture. She's too busy trying to scoop the water from the fountain into her mouth!!

On our walk up to the Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom, we stopped off to see a gigantic snake (Juliana was too freaked out to get too close to it!) and did some sight seeing. There's a beautiful view of Singapore from the island.

Below is Juliana checking out the city's sky line...
The Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom was nice to see, but I'm not sure it was worth the money. We've learned our lesson though and know that with the attractions at Sentosa, the ticket prices are always a bit steep. Juliana had a good time and that's what matters the most! The butterflies were beautiful and some were friendly enough to land on us.I also got to feed the birds!Juliana was trying to catch this butterfly, but she kept trying to blow on it, so it wouldn't land anywhere near her!!Juliana & Jean checking out the ducks...Juliana had such a fun time running around, looking at the butterflies and other animals. She saw some turtles and roosters as well!
After leaving, we headed to get some food for the little one. As Jacob was ordering, Juliana was laughing hysterically at the monkeys playing by the trash cans. When I put down Jacob's drink, it was quickly attacked and knocked over by two of them. What a loss, but I was not putting my hand in there while monkeys fought over a cup of lemonade!
We then headed down to Siloso beach and were more prepared this time that our last visit. We brought Juliana's bathing suit so she could enjoy the sand and water.
Splashing around with daddy...
And climbing a tree with daddy...
It didn't take long for the sun and water to exhaust Juliana, so Jean took her home for a nap. Jacob and I decided to stay and enjoy some alone time for a change! We decided to try the Luge & Skyride. I had to take a picture with our camera of the photos from the rides, so they're not great quality, but it's something!
Another little break for a snack and refreshments and then we were off to Merlion Park. I wish we had done this with Juliana, because she would have loves the water fountains, but we'll be back. Our day ended with a movie, which was the first time we've been to a cinema in a very long time (saw Taken and it was good!), and dinner.
