his afternoon, Juliana and I decided to check out Fidgets and meet up with another mother and her 16 month old son. It's Singapore's largest indoor soft play structure and they have designated areas for young children. Juliana was ready to jump out of her stroller as soon as we walked in! We ended up spending about two and a half hours there, half of that with a play mate, although Juliana was surprisingly shy for some reason. But she had a good time and only managed to take one fall that left her in tears :-( It's a good thing everything is padded, or it may have left a mark!! She's fine though and kept right on playing after about two minutes.
So here she is, climbing up and down this structure and admiring herself in the mirror of course.
There was an enclosed area with some ride along toys. She tried all three, but seemed to enjoy the cozy coop the most. She kept getting in it, turning the wheel for about ten seconds and then getting out...over and over again.
And in the ball pit...which has a climbing wall with a tunnel that led to a slide.
And since we've been practicing counting lately, she headed right over to push each ball from the right to the left as I counted away!
It was also nice to meet up with another mom my age with a son within a month of Juliana's age. I just wish she had been a little more social today! It's so unlike her not to be, so I'm going to just blame the exhaustion from her teething for that!
